			 THE NEXT GENERATION PRIDE MODEL OF PRACTICE Preparing and Assessing Prospective Resource Parents as Team Members in Child Protection and the Trauma Informed Care of Children   ENHANCEMENT TRAINING   *In-Person* Thursday, January 15 & Friday, January 16, 2026 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Daily Local Time at Bamboo Sunrise 98 East Lake Mead Parkway, Suite 201 Henderson, Nevada 89015   *Virtual* Tuesday, January 20, 2026 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Eastern Time   CWLA is pleased to continue with the release of The Next Generation PRIDE Model of Practice curriculum. This latest iteration of the training curriculum now includes person-first language, strength-based words and expressions, and the lived experience perspective.   The Next Generation PRIDE Model of Practice curriculum is an expansion of the current materials with numerous updates and additions, including new videos and new sections. It also features new topical areas such as: the impact adverse childhood experiences have on trust and attachment, how compassion fatigue affects household stability, and the importance of safeguarding children who use social media and technology.    We invite PRIDE Model of Practice licensed agencies to participate in a special refresher training opportunity focused on introducing and delivering the new components of the curriculum. This unique “enhancement training” is essential for all PRIDE Model of Practice trained staff!   The exclusive two-day in-person training, followed by a virtual session, is priced at a significantly reduced training rate and structured to be a cost-effective opportunity to support licensed agency’s implementation of The Next Generation PRIDE Model of Practice curriculum.   Training Registration Fee for CWLA Members, $295; for Non-Members, $375   Required Training Materials: PRIDE Model of Practice license holders have access to materials electronically and participants must have printed copies of required materials for the training. Required materials needed for the training include: The Next Generation Foster PRIDE/Adopt PRIDE Facilitator’s Guide and PRIDEbook (resource materials for prospective resource parents).   Training CEUs Fee for CWLA Members, $30; for Non-Members, $40. 13 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for the training, provided through NASW – Washington State Chapter for Licensed Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors.   PLEASE NOTE: Participants must attend and complete both the in-person training and virtual session.   Training Locations:   *In-Person* Thursday, January 15 & Friday, January 16, 2026 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Daily Local Time   Thank you to Bamboo Sunrise, a long-time partner working with the PRIDE Model of Practice, for hosting CWLA and colleagues for the in-person component of training.   Location: Bamboo Sunrise, 98 East Lake Mead Parkway, Suite 201, Henderson, Nevada 89015. The Las Vegas - McCarran International Airport is about 20 minutes to Henderson.   *Virtual* Tuesday, Janauray 20, 2026 1:00 - 2:30 PM Eastern Time   The virtual session will be held using the Zoom platform.
