CWLA Standards of Excellence for Health Care Services for Children in Out-of-Home Care describe best practices for the planning, provision, and evaluation of health care services for children in out-of-home care. They address the needs of children for physical, dental, and mental health services as well as developmental services and describe how out-of-home care providers and child welfare workers, working in collaboration with health care providers, can meet those needs. These standards describe:
